There are many things to do in the area. We are conveniently located, Point Pelee National Park is less than 15 minutes away from B & B's Bed and Breakfast, and we have many local conservation areas, with hiking trails, beaches that are safe to swim in, canoeing in the marshes or bicycling. We are in the heart of the Carolinian forest with unique trees and plants such as the Tulip tree and prickly pear plants.

There are many antique shops and lots of auctions nearby. We offer an excellent 9 hole golf course right in Wheatley and if you want an 18 hole course there are several nearby.

We are also avid birders and can offer local guiding for modest prices, advice is always free! A major attraction to people of any age is the annual spring and fall bird migration, over 300 species of birds migrate through this area every spring, warblers are a highlight in May and hawks returning in the fall, not to mention butterflies and dragon flies. . Check out friends of Point Pelee Website they are a group of volunteers who arrange bird hikes, butterfly hikes and can answer lots of bird related questions.

We also have the following attractions within 15 to 45 minutes, Greenview Aviaries ,  Colasanti's Tropical Gardens, 11 wineries up and running and 3 new ones opening this year, some excellent wines being produced at Pelee Island and Erie Shores as well as Colio and D'Angelo, spa services 45 minutes away at Chelsea Spa and Retreat, 2 excellent classic car museums, RM Classic in Blenheim and Heritage Village near Harrow.

We also have some great museums dedicated to black history, Uncle Tom's cabin in Dresden and the Buxton National Historic Site and Museum in North Buxton. For those interested in history there is Fort Malden near Amherstburg where the War of 1812 was fought and the Rebellion of 1837.

For people into casinos and slot machines and horse racing there is Casino Windsor, the Windsor Raceway and Dresden Slots, all less than an hour away.
