Green Room - double and single beds, perfect for those who don't want to share a bed -, theme is ducks, large wardrobe which is an antique from an old hotel, bright room with private ensuite bathroom with deep soaker tub / shower - $119 for 2 people

Rose Room - queen sized bed, lovely Gone with the wind lamp, wardrobe for clothes, bright, has 2 windows overlooking the front garden - $115 for 2 people

Blue Room - queen sized bed, small pull out couch, cozy, quiet, it is perfect for light sleepers - $115 for 2 people

All 3 rooms above are on the main floor and they all have the same bathroom amenities, i.e. private ensuite with tub/shower

Avocet Room - only room downstairs, largest room with a queen and single bed, small fridge and the bathroom features the single jacuzzi tub - $135 for 2 people. This room is next to a finished basement / recreation room which has a foosball and pool table and there is one other room which has couches and a big screen television (46 ") with satellite programming. There has never been a problem with noises from people playing pool etc. in 7 years as a b & b, I introduce guests to each other and explain where their rooms are in proximity to the games area.

On the main floor there is also a large eating area. where many people sit in the evening to read, talk, play cards, it has been nicknamed the gathering place. I also give a tour of the main part of the house which is a century home, 10 ' ceilings, solid oak etc.

Policy - reservations are recommended, contact us by phone or e-mail, and are secure upon receipt of the amount of the first night's lodging or by booking with a credit card. No Cancellation Policy for May Bookings 14 day cancellation notice is requested for all other dates for deposit refunds. Cash, Personal checks or Travelers Checks Major Credit Cards accepted. Check in any time after 4:00 PM or by special arrangement, Sorry No pets.

Smoking is allowed in the garden, patio, pool and deck areas.

All prices are inclusive, i.e. no taxes and in Canadian funds. In May, I ask for a 50% deposit which is non refundable, at other times of the year it is a 1 night deposit and I have a 14 day cancellation period.
